Summary

The proposal seeks to stop direct funding for agentic AIs deployed on Fraxtal for two years due to prioritization concerns.

Background & Motivation

IQAI launched their AI tokenization platform late 2024. It is a platform where anyone can launch their own AI model, and if it is successful, it will get additional features like trading, utilizing social media etc.

Frax should take a early stance against funding such agents. Primarily due to two reasons.

  1. Frax should prioritize their funds to maximize the growth of frxUSD and our TVL
  2. Once we have set a precedence in funding a AI-agent, we might have unleashed Pandoras box where we will get many such proposals in governance. It will create unnecessary noise further slowing the mission of Frax.

Proposal Details:

Funding will be denied for 730 days from the day the proposal should pass, or until a new proposal made to directly overturns this one. New proposals asking for AI-agent funding will not go to a vote. If a proposal is made to overturn this one, there can only be one item voted upon in the proposal, namely to overturn it or not (exl. proposals made by the core team).

Vote Outcomes

  1. Deny funding to all on-chain AI-Agents for the next 2 years.
  2. Do nothing

Im flattered that you took the time to write a proposal in response to my proposal - Proposal to Fund Deployment of a Frax Protocol Tokenized On-Chain AI Agent.

However, i can’t help but point out that its nonsensical to make a proposal to block future proposals, since any future proposal would simply overrule and invalidate the proposal your trying to make here.

Why didnt you respond to the original proposal i made instead of making this senseless proposal?
